Welcome to Gallop Magazine, the local magazine for horse lovers in the North West of England.

The first issue of Gallop came on sale in July 2002 and covers all the latest news, event details, show photos, results, bridleway news, vets articles, commercial advertisements and much more.

Gallop is published every 2 months, priced at £1.75 and is on sale at selected newsagents, tack shops and by subscription.  It is also available at some local horse events in the area.

Each issue includes many competitions; the Star Letter Competition, where one reader each issue receives a fantastic prize

We also have competitions especially for the younger readers, the Cute Pony Competition, kindly sponsored by Painted Ponies.  The winner will have their photo published in the magazine and receive a hand painted mug, resembling your pony with sweet treats inside and special Gallop badge.

Within Gallop each issue you will find an array of show photos, results, local news, advice on Health Matters from our Resident Vet, Peter Fenton in Middleton. Also news on driving, bridleways and endurance.
